Conclusion

Not only this blog has come to its end, but also all these years of dedication and hard study. They were four long and tiring years, but now I have my reward.

During these years, I could learn a lot and reflect about my own practicum, too. Besides, I met many classmates with whom I shared this path: we worked together and exchanged ideas, we helped and cheered each other despite the fact that we live in different cities.  What is more, during this time I knew professional tutors who gave not only their theory but also their example. They demonstrated me that it is possible to be coherent between what we say and do.

The practicum was really stressful for me, but at the same time it enriched me with new experiences since I have never worked with young children before, for example. Furthermore, I discovered the importance of revising my own practicum as I wrote my journal. This tool let me understand what the positive aspects of my lessons were and which needed improvement.

To be honest, this is not the end for me, I am conscious of the importance of going on studying and I know that this is the beginning of a lifelong studying process. But... at least it is the first step!

Nothing more must be said, just say: “THANKS!” all the ones who accompanied me during these years, specially my husband and my two children and special thanks to all the people who work hardly and seriously at “Instituto Lenguas Vivas”.
